SeaWorld Orlando Kissimmee is a marine life park and zoological park located in Kissimmee, Florida. The park features Shamu, the killer whale; dolphin shows; aquariums; and many other attractions. SeaWorld Orlando is owned by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group.

In 1963, George J. Gillette and Milt Shedd, two entrepreneurs from California, came to Florida to look for a site to build a marine life park. They eventually settled on an undeveloped plot of land near the city of Orlando. Construction of the park began in 1964 and it opened on December 15, 1965 under the name "SeaWorld".

The park was an instant success and soon became one of the most popular tourist destinations in Florida. In 1976, SeaWorld Orlando expanded with the addition of a second park, "Sea World of Ohio", which was later renamed "SeaWorld Ohio" and is now known as "Aquatica". In 1984, SeaWorld Orlando added a third park, "Discovery Cove", which allows visitors to swim with dolphins.

In 2010, SeaWorld Orlando introduced "Manta", a flying roller coaster ride where riders experience the sensation of being a manta ray gliding through the water. In 2012, the park debuted "Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin", a new attraction that takes guests on an adventure to the South Pole.
